* As the workshop classes’ topics are usually built on each other, we do not recommend that you only take classes on Thursday, while skipping Wednesday’s classes.

Gender balance

We need to take good care of the ratio of leaders and followers at workshops and even during parties.
As every year we have way more followers wanting to register than leaders, we need to control the ratio somehow.

We are well aware of the fact that there are some ladies training to be mainly leaders, but it is impossible for us to identify them. We already tried taking word for it, but somehow half of the ladies on the waiting list tried to register as a leader with the rest of the followers as their partners…

After this we had to come up with the following rules:

1) Ladies can register as a leader to the event if they have at least 1 WSDC Novice point as a leader.
2) They can only register alone as a leader without an additional lady follower.

All-Star Pass (Fri – Sun)

This pass is cheaper than a Party Pass, but it is much more than a basic Party Pass. It includes 3 All-star only workshops  with some of the World’s Best Instructors. We do this to acknowledge the effort made to become an All-star and also to get some competition judging in return. Judging is not compulsory, please indicate your intention to help out with judging during registration. Thank you!

Cancelling or transferring your registration

If your cancellation is due to changes in official travel restrictions or Covid illness proven by medical lab documents on your name, you will get a full refund.*

The cancellation date will be considered as the date when we receive your clear announcement of cancellation. If you decide to cancel your participation, certain charges will apply as outlined below. The refund will be processed using the same payment method that was used for your initial payment (e.g., if you paid by card, the refund will be issued to your card).
* Please note that any transaction costs incurred will be borne by you.

Cancellation Policy:

  1.  If you cancel before 1st November: 80% of the total payment will be refunded*.
  2. If you cancel between 1st November and 1st December: 50% of the total payment will be refunded*.
  3. If you cancel after 1st December: Unfortunately, no refund will be possible. However, you can transfer your registration to someone else.
    *Please note that bank costs will be deducted from the refunded amount.
    If you find the registration cancellation fees to be expensive, we provide an alternative option – transferring your registration to another dancer.

Transfer Rules:

To ensure a smooth and fair transfer process, we have established the following rules:

  • Leaders can only transfer their registration to another leader as a substitute.
  • Followers have the flexibility to transfer their registration to either a follower or a leader (excluding Focus passes) as a substitute until the event is sold out. Same rules apply to follower passes after the event is sold out.
  • A transfer fee of 10 € per pass is applicable for any registration transfer, regardless of when the transfer takes place.
  • Finding a substitute should be done in an acceptable manner, without any abuse or misuse. We reserve the right to decline any registration transfer request that does not comply with these guidelines.
